I recently had drinks and some munchies at the bar. My girl and I were pretty much just passing through but ended up staying for happyhour then hung out for the band. To my suprize we both had a great nite. The bar was very busy but the blonde bartender didnt miss a beat. She made our hole nite. We never waited for anything. The only bad thing was I had to smoke outside but that is the new trend. I will be back.

It’s called Frankie and Georgie’s now, and it’s kind of hit or miss. Whether or not you’re a fan really depends on what you’re looking for. They serve up a pretty good bottle list with some decent options on tap, but the atmosphere seems to depend on when you go. Sometimes I feel like I fit in with the crowd they attract, and other times I feel like I walked into the wrong bar.

This is the kind of place that I want to support, but I don’t think I’m quite as excited about it as I used to be. That said, it’s been a little while since I’ve been back that way, so it’s about time I stop by and give them another shot.

i was at the bar recently when i overheard a person by the name of george tell the bartender not to give me happyhour prices unless i asked. later when trying to pay my overinflated bill i was held up because the bartender was celebrating with george about hitting a fruit bonus i wont be back or recomend this place. thank

Wow. I’m glad you liked the review, Frankie.

I actually re-read my whole review when I saw your comment and remembered that I was both pro-PD’s and still pretty honest about what could be improved. I’m glad you appreciated the honesty. Quite honestly, I slant in the direction of vegetarian (blame my mother). That means I’m probably not the greatest reviewer of ribs.

That said, I’d be willing to dine on ribs for the sake of a review. Of course, I would be sure to fully disclose the fact that dinner was on you if I were to post here. The whole site breaks down without a sense of full disclosure.

In any case, I’ll be sure to give you a call and work something out. It’s about 8pm on a Saturday now, so I’ll wait for what is probably a more reasonable time for a restaurant owner. :-)
