I've gone to Aiello's since I was little, and would never dream of trying Mineo's. Joe Aiello told my parents he left Mineo's because he wanted to use a blend of Mozzerella and Provilone rather than just Mozzerella. The man has standards.

Secret to the best Aiello's pie is ordering extra sauce.

I will always love Aiellos and stop in every time I am in town, multiple times. I admit that I do not like the prices that often seem to raise, but it has never stopped me. Honestly, after growing up on Aiellos, I think NY pizza (self proclaimed best everything) is good, but can never beat Burgh Pizza. On that note, I live in MD (DC) and the pizza here is not even worth your time.

Aiello's is definitely my favorite. I've actually turned a couple of Mineo's people on to Aiello's as well.

@Gina: There is a reason Aiello's is expensive and never have specials, and that's because it's that good and does not have to worry about lowering their prices for people to buy it.

Hmmmm. Perhaps I need to make Napoli next on my list. I think I was there once as an undergrad, but I hardly remember the experience. Consider them on my list!
